Ensemble Pentatonic began as a 'ad-hoc' meeting of five young musicians in order to prepare a simple classic recital within a cultural event. Nobody thought that this will turn into a successful national and international project. Madalina Luca-nai, Gabriel Gherghelas-clarinet, Monica Bejenaru-viola, Catalin Stanescu-piano,Florin Lungu-contrabass,and the lider of the group, Mihai Gherghelas-violin,have succeed to impress trough their music and interpretation a large public from different European countries.
In 2011 Pentatonic has been assigned to represent Romania in the ceremony of marriage of prince Sandor von Habsburg-Lothringen,an event that has 800 guests from major royal houses in Europe and important public figures. Starting with 2010 until now, every year in December,in Kolomanisaal, from Melk monastery, Austria,the ensemble asservates the opening of Advent events,wich had a full success.
